Metamorphic Rock-Rocks that morph because of heat and pressure.
Igneous Rock-Rocks that come from magma/lava that is cooled. (volcanoes)
Sedimentary Rock-Rock that covers 75-80% of the Earth, and is formed by the  process of Lithification.
Lithification-The process in which sediments become rock under extreme pressure.
Weathering-The break down of rocks through direct contact with the atmosphere (heat, water, ice, pressure)
Erosion-Not to be confused with weathering, erosion is the movement of solids in the environment by wind, water, ice or gravity.
Compaction-Layers of rocks that are under pressure become solidified.
Cementation-The joining of sediment to form a new rock.
